Yep I am one of those mothers. The ones that look at a squiggle their child has made in awe, dragging their husband over even, to listen to the explanation that the squiggle is in fact a spider. And to us it is an amazing spider, it has legs, it has a round(ish) body, it is beautiful! I love my child's drawings, but then I have always loved children's art, the abandon with which they draw, the spontaneity, the innocence and curiousity. By the way the second to last photo is of the little work space and 'exhibition' space that belongs to him. It is somewhere that gives me joy aswell and a creative outlet for me too.
